Day-1ISTANBUL Arrival Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Day free at leisure considering the busy program for following days.

Day-2ISTANBUL After breakfast at Hotel, our tour starts at Taksim. From where for small size groups we step on to the Historical TRAMWAY (one of the oldest public transportation vehicles in Europe) and ride to GALATA Quarter. In fact Jewish history in this land, basicly starts in 1492 during the Ottoman Empire strongest era, with unpleasent and unforgettable deportation from Spain. Actually the first Jewish life and settlements date back in Byzantine time, when this particular Galata area was walled city and separated from Constantinople. From 1500’s onward Galata was known as the centre of Jewish community. In here first we will visit Galata Tower from where we walk to Neve Shalom Synagogue. This one is the biggest (and well protected!!!) in the city. In its modern design and decoration, yet has keeping Kamondo Stairs from 19th century. Lunch will be seved in this area. Our Next Stop is Zulfaris Synagogue which is restored and became master museum of Turko Jewish Life.And finally last stop visit the Eskenazi Synagogue which is another important synagogue in Istanbul. A great synagogue and holy place in Jewish tradition. Late in the afternoon return to hotel and overnight.

Day-3ISTANBUL Today our tour begin with a short drive to Balat; a very ancient part of the city, where you may see the “Star of David” on building facades, you will visit the oldest existing synagogue in Istanbul called the Synagogue of Ahrida (exterior view only), which dates back to 1400. The synagogue has an impressive Baroque design and was restored in the 17th century. The second place of interest will be Jewish Hospital in Haskoey. Then after drive along the shores of Golden Horn and lunch at historical Pandelli Restaurant located in the walls of world famous Egyptian Bazaar. After lunch free time for shopping in the bazaar. Then after continue to discover another world famous bazaar of the city GRAND BAZAAR itself. Late in the afternoon return to hotel and overnight.

Day-4IZMIR (SARDIS) After a very early breakfast, drive to domestic airport for a departure for a full day excursion of Izmir. This beautiful city Izmir , where the jewish community dates back more than 2000 years, explore the one of the Local Synagogues (subject to availability). Lunch at the shore of Aegean sea in a nice fish restaurant. After lunch drive to Sardis , the capital of Ancient Lydia. Where you will have chance to visit the ruins of Acropolis. Stroll through the ruins of this impressive ancient city, the reconstructed synagogue, the gymnasium, the new excavation area, the Royal Road etc. Late in the evening return to Izmir airport and fly to Istanbul for overnight in Hotel.

Day-5ISTANBUL International connections are available from Istanbul Airport.

Or you may have extra days accommodation anywhere in Turkey.
